He holds a degree in Actuarial Science, in Statistics, a Master’s in Administration (with an emphasis on Finance) from Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais (UFMG) and a postgraduate degree in Data Science from USP-São Carlos.
He is a member of Instituto Brasileiro de Atuária (MIBA 2040), certified as an Independent Actuary Auditor and Responsible Technical Actuary and a member of the Regional Statistics Council (CONRE 7683 - 6th Region MG).
He has 25 years of experience in the insurance and banking market, working in the actuarial and financial areas, products, processes and auditing, with successful projects in the implementation of new businesses; product development/pricing; trainings; predictive modeling and data science.
He has directly worked with modeling of technical provisions – both in the insurance segment and for the complementary pension, capitalization and health segments; independent actuarial auditing; qualification of regulatory databases; internal risk-based capital model; credit scoring; post-employment benefit; and applications of Susep, Previc and ANS standards.
