Qualifications
He holds a bachelor’s degree in Accounting from Universidade Metodista de São Paulo (UMSP) and is a licensed accountant with the Regional Accounting Council of São Paulo (CRC‑SP). He is also a registered auditor with the National Registry of Independent Auditors (CNAI), authorized to serve companies regulated by the Brazilian Securities and Exchange Commission (CVM).
Experience
He has more than 15 years of experience in audit, including previous tenure at a Big Four firm. He joined Grant Thornton Brazil in 2019 as a Senior Manager, leading engagements for strategic clients and ensuring high-quality audit delivery across a wide range of sectors, including general industry, food and beverage, services, forestry/agro, and nonprofit organizations.
His professional background includes strong expertise in International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), as well as extensive experience with Brazilian companies operating both internationally and in the local market—among them entities regulated by CVM and SEC/PCAOB. He has also participated in capital market transactions such as IPOs and local fundraising offerings (CRAs), as well as international issuances (Bonds – 144A/Reg S).
This diverse experience has contributed to his deep understanding of the issues and challenges faced by public and private companies of all sizes—small, mid-sized, and large market players.
