Qualifications
Holds a bachelor’s degree in Accounting and an MBA in International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) from FIPECAFI. Holds the internationally recognized CertIFR (Certificate in International Financial Reporting) certification, awarded by the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA). Is a registered auditor with the National Registry of Independent Auditors (CNAI) and a licensed accountant registered with the Regional Accounting Council of Rio Grande do Sul.
Experiência
Has more than 15 years of experience in audit and assurance services, with expertise in the audit and review of financial statements, internal controls assessments, due diligence, and valuation engagements. Throughout his career, he has served both domestic and multinational organizations, publicly traded and privately held companies, conducting projects in compliance with BRGAAP, IFRS, and US GAAP.
Brings extensive experience across the retail, manufacturing, services, and technology sectors, advising organizations of various sizes on matters related to corporate governance, internal controls, and financial reporting.
At Grant Thornton Brazil since 2016, he is based in the Porto Alegre office, where he has played a significant role in strengthening and supporting the sustainable growth of the practice. His responsibilities include expanding the client portfolio, developing strategic relationships, generating new business opportunities, and building and developing high-performance teams.
