Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from the Fluminense Federal University (Universidade Federal Fluminense - UFF), with an MBA in Strategic Business Management, Accounting, and Business from UNOPAR.
Certified professional registered with the National Registry of Independent Auditors (CNAI), authorized to perform audits regulated by the Brazilian Securities and Exchange Commission (CVM), the National Superintendence of Pension Funds (PREVIC), the Central Bank of Brazil (BACEN), and the Quality Technical Review Program (QTG). He is also registered with the Regional Accounting Council of Rio de Janeiro (CRC-RJ).
Experience
Executive with more than 19 years of experience in external auditing, specializing in financial institutions, including banks, investment funds, securities distributors and broker-dealers, payment institutions, and pension funds. He has extensive experience in financial analysis, risk management, compliance, and accounting practices under US GAAP, IFRS, and BR GAAP.
At Grant Thornton Brazil, he serves as Technical Partner, leading audit engagements within the financial services sector, including securities brokers and distributors, asset management firms, investment funds, pension entities, and other organizations.
