Qualifications

Graduated in Accounting and Administration; MBA in Controllership from the University of São Paulo (USP), specialization in Finance and Marketing from the University of California and certified by the Leadership Program from the University of Oxford and Harvard University.He concluded the Fundação Dom Cabral Counselor Program, the IBGC Administration Counselor Program, the Counselor Training Program and the Consultative Counselor Training Program of the CELINT Institute. Certified in Private/Extrajudicial Mediation and Conciliation Program.

He is a member of Grant Thornton’s Risk Management Committee and International Business Centers, former representative of Grant Thornton at LACC - Regulatory Group, former member of the Regulatory Working Group of IBRACON - Institute of Independent Auditors of Brazil, former member of the Fraud Working Group of IBRACON - Institute of Independent Auditors of Brazil, former member of the GTI IFRS Interpretation Group and former member of the Aerospace and Defense Group of Arthur Andersen.

He was a regional coordinator for Latin America, member of the international regulatory group and member of the international risk management committee at one of the six largest global audit and advisory companies.
Certified as an Ambassador of the 17 UN Sustainable Development Goals by the International Honors and Merits Council.

He received the ‘Personalities of the Year’ award, in 2021, by the Global Council of Sustainability & Marketing and the Forum of the Americas in the Compliance and Corporate Governance Category.

In 2022 he received the ‘Strategic Growth Market Firm of the Year’ award from Grant Thornton International. In 2023, he received the ‘CEO of the Year’ award for Auditing and Consulting companies’ granted by the Order of Economists of Brazil.

Experience

He has more than 30 years of experience in auditing and consultancy, having extensive experience with national and international companies, capital market transactions – IPO & Debts, Mergers & Acquisitions (M&O) and organizational restructuring processes, with a focus on the management of family businesses, with accelerated growth, as well as in the development of innovation programs in companies.

As CEO, he is responsible for implementing and maintaining Grant Thornton's strong culture, identity, governance and strategy focused on quality, customer experience in the services provided, ethics and transparency, people development, innovation and risk management.
