Qualifications
Caroline Moraes de Lima holds a bachelor’s degree in International Relations from Universidade Anhembi Morumbi (UAM), a postgraduate degree in Risk Management, Fraud and Compliance from Fundação Instituto de Administração (FIA), and an MBA in Technology Management and Information Security from IDESP.
Experience
Caroline has more than 11 years of consulting experience in the areas of Compliance, Privacy, Risk Management, and Corporate Investigations, serving public and private organizations across a wide range of industries, including construction, entertainment, petrochemicals, financial services, steel manufacturing, pensions, and the public sector.
Throughout her professional career, she has led and participated in projects related to the implementation, assessment, and monitoring of Compliance and Integrity Programs, including third-party due diligence, corporate investigations, whistleblower allegation reviews, forensic analyses, maturity assessments, and the development and review of policies, procedures, and internal controls in accordance with applicable regulations and market best practices.
In recent years, she has focused on Privacy and Data Protection projects, conducting assessments of compliance with the Brazilian General Data Protection Law (LGPD), privacy maturity assessments, and privacy audits, as well as leading the implementation and enhancement of Privacy Programs.
Her experience also includes designing governance frameworks, defining roles and responsibilities, developing processes, procedures, and controls, managing risks, and delivering training and awareness initiatives. She also serves as a Data Protection Officer as a Service (DPOaaS), providing ongoing support to organizations across various industries in maintaining, monitoring, and enhancing their Privacy Programs, with a focus on strengthening regulatory compliance and increasing data protection maturity.
