Qualifications
He is a certified public accountant in Brazil (CFC) and an accredited auditor with the Brazilian Securities Commission (CVM). He has completed multiple domestic and international training programs in International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS/CPC), developing strong expertise across a range of complex technical topics. He holds a master’s and a doctorate in Philosophy and Theology from Liberty University and Colorado Seminary (USA), and a bachelor’s degree in Accounting from Universidade da Região de Joinville.
Experience
He has nearly 20 years of experience in audit and advisory, much of it built within Big Four firms. His background includes extensive work with Brazilian and international companies, as well as participation in capital market transactions, including IPOs, mergers, and acquisitions.
He also has experience with PCAOB‑regulated companies, assessing and reviewing internal control environments aligned with U.S. regulatory standards (SOX). He spent two years in Minneapolis, United States, serving large public companies.
Over the course of his career, he has led audit engagements across a wide range of sectors, including textiles, technology, food and beverage, port operations, manufacturing, retail, automotive, petroleum distribution, construction, and real estate development, among others.
