Qualifications

Alexandre is a specialist and a Master of Science student in Valuation Engineering at Universitat Politècnica de València (Spain) and holds a bachelor’s degree in Production Engineering from Universidade Federal Fluminense (Rio de Janeiro).

Alexandre has advanced technical expertise in Rockwell, Siemens and GE for the specification and development of automation and control systems (SDCD, SCADA, MES) and, also, integration of shop floor systems.

Professional experience

Alexandre has more than 20 years’ experience in projects, construction, and operation of large plants in high-standard technology application. Since 2015, Alexandre has been participating in tangible asset management and valuation projects by acting technically and managing multidisciplinary teams in a variety of engagements to assist in processes relating to: risk and control matrix creation, due diligence, corporate transactions, and compliance with regulatory requirements. Direct involvement in commercial prospection processes and technical support to various industries, such as: Food & Beverages, Energy, Sanitation, Steel, and Telecommunications.

Alexandre has joined Grant Thornton Brazil as a Transactions Partner to lead fixed asset management projects from control modelling to valuation of assets for different purposes.
